City of Pasadena Public Art Walking Tours

These tours are an introduction to our charming city and its
extraordinary collection of architecture.
Pasadena is unique for its concentration and diversity of landmark-quality
buildings dating from the late 1880s. But more than isolated sites, there are
whole neighborhoods of distinction. These tours are selected fragments of
Pasadena neighborhoods and may be combined or serve as a point of departure
for your own explorations. The maps call attention to some addresses, denoting
buildings of significant architectural or historical interest. A few of the
extra special ones are listed separately. The tours are planned for walking or
biking, and since most are residential neighborhoods, please respect the
owners' privacy.
We are grateful for our rich architectural heritage and hope that your
Pasadena experience will be enriched by these tours.
Maps are all of the same scale, but locations of individual
addresses are not exact due to space considerations. Houses of significant
interest are noted on each map in bold, not all are mentioned within the tour
description. When in doubt, remember the mountains are to the north.
